Assistant Professor, Pediatric Hospital Medicine - McGovern Medical School
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center - McGovern Medical School invites applications for a full-time, Pediatrician at the Assistant Professor level to join a team of highly-motivated hospitalists with strong interests in education and quality improvement in the Division of Hospital Medicine.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The primary clinical responsibilities are general inpatient care including intermediate care status patients. We provide 24 hour inpatient attending coverage, so overnight shifts are required. We serve a large referral area and are located in Houston in the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. We have a full complement of pediatric subspecialists available for consultation.
Members of the division of Hospital Medicine Pediatrics are actively engaged in efforts to improve care delivery and patient safety as well as improve clinical education for learners across the educational continuum.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics and hold or be eligible to obtain a Texas Medical License.
