The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, a leading academy health center seeks faculty positions at all levels for the Divisions of Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the McGovern Medical School.

Position Key Accountabilities:

We seek applicants with a primary interest and certification in critical care medicine who will manage a diverse group of critically ill patients in a teaching context at a 900-bed Level I trauma center and a 328-bed Level III trauma center. The division manages a coordinated, multidisciplinary intensivist program involving 110 critical care beds. Also, faculty with a primary interest and certification in pulmonary medicine and/or sleep medicine are sought. Opportunities and support exist for translational research.

Qualifications:

Medical Degree (M.D.), a Board Certification in Pulmonary or Critical Care or eligibility, eligibility for full medical licensure in Texas; and excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
