Assistant Professor, Gynecologic Oncology - Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, McGovern Medical School
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Rank of Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology will provide direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents in clinic and hospital settings by:
-Participating in the private practice at various Memorial Hermann locations,
including participation in a UT general Obstetrics and Gynecology physician
group call team for coverage.
-Collaborating with other Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians who will join
the private practice.
-Participating in the education and training of medical students and residents
-Supporting the research mission of the department and university through:
a) Facilitating reasonable and appropriate access to patients by research
b) Assisting when requested with collection of research data including
c) Providing information and education on on-going research studies to
potentially eligible research subjects.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Required or preferred board certification/eligibility statement. Required or preferred minimum years of clinical experience or years post residency statement.
