Position Summary:
Responsible for HR analytics and reporting activities. Designs, creates, and routinely produces standard and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards and scorecards, and develops workforce models to provide guidance on workforce planning activities.
Position Key Accountabilities:
- Gathers data and prepares all HR reporting, scorecards/dashboards, and analyses on key HR metrics using MS Office software, HRMS database, and other HR-related databases.
- Completes statistical, trend, capacity and sensitivity analyses to provide insight into talent gaps.
- Conducts predictive modeling and data mining/factor analysis based on reported data.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy, data integrity and integration, including data from complementary functions within the University.
- Seeks opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification, and automation of existing reports and analysis.
- Collaborates with HR leadership, and other functional teams, to model current/future resource scenarios.
- Assists HR leadership in providing recommendations and messaging to stakeholders.
- Responds to ad hoc HR information requests.
- Assists with HR technology implementations and data maintenance, report data integrity, administration, and validation issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Certification/Skills:
Proven ability to develop reports and dashboards, and to interpret data using statistical analysis.
Advanced MS Excel modeling and data manipulation skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail skills.
Compelling oral and written communication skills.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, operations research or other related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years of relevant experience in retrieving, analyzing, and reporting HR information.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
