Staff Physician( Hospitalist), Pediatric Hospital Medicine - Pediatrics, McGovern Medical School
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading health academic center, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist, in the Division of Pediatrics Hospital Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, to care for pediatric inpatients in a community hospital in the Greater Houston area.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The duties include direct delivery of medical care, working in concert with other members of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including consultants, when necessary, and participation in the quality assurance activities of the department. The Hospitalist reports to the medical director but is expected to practice independently. The candidate must be able to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine in a manner that supports the needs of the child and her/his family.
Qualifications:
The select candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary. The candidate must be board certified/eligible in General Pediatrics.
