McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Integrative Biology and Pharmacology to study regulation of cell signaling and its impact on cell or organismal physiology.

We are especially interested in applicants using cutting-edge, quantitative or structural approaches to study cell signaling in cells or model organisms who will bring complementary expertise to a highly interactive, multi-disciplinary department with research interests ranging from basic membrane biology and molecular pharmacology to whole animal physiology and pathology.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Responsibilities include development of an extramurally funded, internationally recognized research program and active participation in medical and graduate education. McGovern Medical School is a part of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and is located within the Texas Medical Center, which also includes Baylor College of Medicine, Rice University and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Physiology, or other related field.
