Certification/Skills:

Advanced-level grant writing skills.  May require program-specific certifications.

 

Minimum Education:

Master’s degree is required and a degree in Biomedical Sciences is preferred.  PhD degree in science or public health preferred.

Minimum Experience:

Five (5) years of experience in a related research environment. Experience in advanced grant proposal writing and submission required.  Extensive knowledge of, and experience in, clinical research is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Security Sensitive:

This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
