The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston-McGovern Medical School is recruiting for an Assistant Professor, focusing on Transplant Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. 

Position Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidate will be expected to:

-Develop and evolve the growth of our liver disease clinical program which in   turn will expand the liver transplant pool and support clinical investigative   programs within the UT/Memorial Hermann Hospital GI Center of Excellence.

-Develop relationships and clinical activities in partner facilities within the   Memorial Hermann system with a concentration on providing Hepatology   expertise and transplant evaluations in areas where we currently do not have a   clinical presence.

-Develop between 2-3 new transplant hepatology clinics at target locations in   the Medical center and in the Houston area.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicant must have an M.D. degree, be board certified, be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas; and a graduate of an ACGME hepatology fellowship program.
