The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, is seeking a full-time Vascular Neurologist focused on the highest level of patient care to join our stroke program in the Department of Neurology. This employment opportunity is for a neurologist with primary interest in a hospital setting.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Selected candidate will attend on the adult primary stroke service and provide on call service based at Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center (TMC) in Houston, Texas which is the first Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center in Texas. Position will also provide some outpatient service at our Neurology Clinic.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be graduates of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited neurology residency and ACGME vascular neurology fellowship with active board-certifications and be licensed in the State of Texas (or eligible to be licensed).

Candidates should possess outstanding clinical and interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
