Staff Physician, Anesthesiology- McGovern Medical School
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston - McGovern Medical School, Department of Anesthesiology invites applicants to fill our part-time staff physician (PRN-Pro Re Nata) positions.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Part time physician staff member will provide anesthesia services at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, LBJ Hospital or Memorial Hermann Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Responsibilities includes:
-Supervising and medically directing resident anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and anesthesia assistants at all service sites covered by UTHealth Houston Anesthesia team.
-Reporting to the Medical Director of Operating Room or his designee.
Minimum Qualification:
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Required board certification/eligibility statement in Anesthesiology. Required four years of training (1 year general house staff) and 3 years of anesthesiology residency.
