Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, Pediatric Anesthesia - Anesthesiology, McGovern Medical School
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center-McGovern Medical School invites applications for a full-time, (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track for Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor for Pediatric Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology.
Position Key Accountabilities
Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching residents and medical students the skills and theory of this specialty and clinical activities in the operating rooms.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Preferred board certification in Anesthesiology or board eligible status. Candidates should have a M.D. degree, four years of post graduate training: 1 year of internship in any accredited internship program, 3 years of anesthesiology residency and 1 year fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia. Candidate should possess excellent clinical skills. Simulation teaching would be a great plus.
